Busted Flat in Virginia
I’ve always been lucky when I’m unlucky. If I run out of gas I’m typically coasting up to a gas station. When one of Destiny’s rear tires shredded on the highway we were lucky enough to have Angelo the Greek truck driver near by.
Like an angel of the road Angelo honored the trucker’s code and helped us change out the tire. After this dirty hard job we sat along the road stop and shared a bottle of wine will talking about Europe, Angelo’s former life in Greece and new life in America.
His warmth and humor lifted us and sent us back on the road with our faith in people and our ability to fix our own tires buoyed.

Barefoot and drinking wine from a plastic glass, are you from West Virginia?
