Sweet Savannah
Wednesday, July 4th, 2007The original old town of Savannah, Georgia, with its weeping lazy foliage and quant buildings exudes a sweet and pervasive charm. It’s wonderful to saunter through the lazy streets and gardens beneath drooping limps draped in sunlight moss. Old town Savannah is a place where you can get lost for days and never want to be found.
Soraya and I had a gourmet southern meal of fried chicken, mashed potatoes and collards. Such Southern food is perhaps the ultimate comfort food on the planet.
